UPDATE@ 9 a.m.: Fire officials have reported the blaze was fully contained at about midnight on Monday June 17.
Two engines, one water tender and one fire crew will be on scene today patrolling the fire area and improving containment lines.
UPDATE @ 6:50 p.m.: According to a Riverside County Fire Department report, the blaze is 50 percent contained and fire crews have successfully halted its forward spread.
The first arriving engine company reported approximately 25 to 30 acres burning at a moderate rate, according to Riverside County Fire Department spokesman Mark Annas.
The blaze was first reported at 5:12 p.m. on Monday, June 17 west of Grand and Central avenues near Wildomar, Annas said.
A total of 154 firefighters, 17 engine companies and two air tankers are among the emergency response crews dispatched to the scene.
